In memory of Bob Hughes, a great man, who did so much for the Anti-Apartheid Movement (AAM), Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA) and many other causes during his life. He always came over as such a genuine and principled man, and was clearly helped in this, by having such a caring family and others surrounding him . I always recollect that even when he had become Lord Hughes of Woodside, he was clearly much more comfortable to be referred to just as Bob. He will be sorely missed.
